GeoLogics Corporation continues to be recognized among the aerospace industry. GeoLogics was named the 2007 "Supplier of the Year" by the New England Minority Supplier Development Council (NEMSDC) at its Annual Awards Dinner held in Boston.

GeoLogics was nominated for this prestigious award by Raytheon Company, who is both a longstanding GeoLogics client and Platinum Sponsor of the NEMSDC. NEW CONTRACTS KEEP COMING IN!

GeoLogics continues to win contracts and offer technically challenging and rewarding careers for our employees. Several of our new technical services contracts are nationwide in scope and have transformed GeoLogics into the technical services provider of choice for companies like Raytheon, Northrop–Grumman, United Space Alliance, Boeing, and CSC. We are excited to announce the award of the following contracts and subcontracts:


GeoLogics and CSC win Pax Range O&M contract

CSC has won the Pax Range O&M contract recompete at the Patuxent River NAS in Lexington Park, Maryland. GeoLogics has been a subcontractor to CSC/Dyncorp since 2002 and has won numerous awards and letters of appreciation from the command for our support of the range test activities. GeoLogics software engineers work with CSC and Navy personnel developing advanced aircraft test systems and software. This is a base one year subcontract with four option years worth an estimated $2.5M.

GeoLogics and CDS2 win SPAWARSYSCEN Technical Services contract

The team of CDS2 and GeoLogics has won a performance-based, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts with hybrid pricing arrangements (i.e., Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee, Firm-Fixed-Price) to provide the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston with program management and technical support services for program, project and acquisition management support; material and equipment procurement; engineering and testing support; integrated logistics support; maintenance and technical support; configuration management; and information technology and web services support.

Work for the contracts will be performed in Charleston, S.C., (60 percent) and Norfolk, Va., (40 percent), and work is expected to be completed by Dec 2010.

GeoLogics Charleston has earned an exceptional reputation for their sucessful support of SPAWAR programs in the areas of program management, business process reengineering, and technical services. The contract is a one year base with two option years.

USTRANSCOM and Asynchrony Solutions

GeoLogics will be able to provide technical and management support services to USTRANSCOM under a new subcontract with the St. Louis-based Asynchrony Solutions, Inc. GeoLogics has established a marketing office in St. Louis to support USTRANSCOM and other related business opportunities. The ID/IQ subcontract runs for one year plus four one year options.

United Space Alliance

GeoLogics has also won a contract extension for our technical support contract with USA supporting Space Shuttle operations at Johnson Space Center, Marshall Space Flight Center, and Kennedy Space Center. The subcontract covers work through 2009 on both the STS and Orion.

GeoLogics has been supporting USA since its creation in 1996. Prior to that, GeoLogics provided support to Unisys and AlliedSignal, two companies that were part of the Space Transportation System Operations Contract (STSOC). STSOC was the predecessor contract to the Space Flight Operations Contract (SFOC), which is the name of the program that supports Shuttle flight operations under the management of USA.

Orbital Sciences Corporation

GeoLogics To Provide Engineering Support to Orbital Sciences' Launch Abort System For NASA's Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle.

NASA's Orion project is an advanced design crew capsule to take astronauts to space missions after the Space Shuttle is removed from service. Future missions to the International Space Station, the Moon and, eventually, to Mars and beyond will use these new capsules and vehicles. Orbital's principal role is to design, develop, build and test a new Launch Abort System (LAS) that would allow the crew to escape in an emergency during launch pad operations and the ascent into Earth orbit.

Two-Year Subcontract from Orbital Sciences.
GeoLogics will provide propulsion and aerospace engineering and design expertise in a two-year subcontract with OSC. GeoLogics has been issued three Task Orders by OSC to support the following: 1) provide subject matter expertise in various areas of aerospace systems in support of OSC's Orion Program; 2) Provide Design, Analysis, Integration and Test (DAIT) services through task and subtask orders related to a specific discipline or component requirement within the overall OSC's Orion Program assignments; and 3) Provide management and administrative support to promote the productive and effective operation of the OSC's Orion Program.

EDO Professional Services

GeoLogics has been awarded a CPFF contract by EDO Professional Services to evaluate performance and mission suitability of Electronic Airspeed-Altitude Sensor/Mode Selector (EAAS/MS). Focus of the evaluation is on the integration and functionality of the EAAS within an aircraft electrical power system.

GeoLogics has also supported EDO Communications and Countermeasures Systems with systems development and R&D work with wideband secure aircraft communication link equipment, avionics, and automated C3 validation systems. GeoLogics has been providing aerospace avionics R&D services to DoD, NASA, and research laboratories for over a decade now and has one of the most technically competent workforces anywhere.

Office of Naval Research (ONR)

GeoLogics Technical Services has been awarded a task to support C4ISR electronics component R&D for the Navy. The areas of research include the use of the electromagnetic spectrum in support on Navy and Marine Corps needs. Specific applied programs include research in the areas of surface and aerospace surveillance, communications, electronic combat, and navigation. All areas of electronics relating to reducing the cost of, and increasing the capabilities for, transmission and reception of electromagnetic energy are considered under these efforts. This work builds on similar work performed by GeoLogics for the Navy under contract with the Naval Research Laboratory.

Besides the R&D support, GeoLogics will assist ONR personnel in overall technical program management support on matters and issues consistent with ONR sponsored development projects, which includes program/project planning, program staff coordination, program/project/financial reviews, technology assessments, earned value management system (EVMS) analyses, data analyses, conference and seminar activities, and program-specific financial issues.
